Somewhere between the optimistic submission for the TIG in mid-June 2012 to the acceptance by the Colorado Department of Education for half the requested money, I found myself wondering what in the world we would do once the grant became a reality. I know that in the room, the school's leadership team all have visions of what this might look like and reality will provide us some feedback as well. We start the conversation tomorrow at 10:30. Let the process begin. My hope is that we can create a new direction for alternative education in the Grand Valley that prepares students for the challenges of the new century, enabling them to compete in a global market.
